Who We Serve
Youth Ages 12–17 Who Need Solid Direction.
The AON Initiative is now accepting applications for Volunteer Basketball Coaches to support our youth basketball development program. This program serves youth ages 12–17 who need structured basketball instruction, consistent direction, skill development, and positive adult support in a supervised program setting.
Parents, former players, coaches, mentors, and community members with basketball knowledge and a willingness to support youth development are encouraged to apply. You don't need to be a former pro — you need to be reliable, coachable, and ready to show up for kids. TAONI will train you.
On-Camera Coaching
You'll Be Mic'd Up & On Film.
Full Court Press isn't just basketball — it's a media-forward program. Our Press Corps documents every session, and coaches are a core part of the story we tell. As a volunteer coach, you should be comfortable:
Player Assessments on Camera
Giving short, on-camera evaluations so participants can see and hear their growth.
Docu-Practice Sessions
Being mic'd up during practices so we can capture coaching moments and showcase development over the season.
Sideline Interviews
Speaking to the Press Corps about drills, game plans, and player wins.
Role-Model Presence
Carrying yourself with a clean, presentable, positive personality — on and off camera. These kids are watching.
You don't need to be polished or experienced on camera — we'll coach you through it. You do need to be willing to show up, speak up, and represent the program well.
